Flag of the Tower
A building near the Piazza del Campo in Siena displays the flag for the Torre (Tower), one of the districts (contrade) which race in the Palio. Established in the Middle Ages with flags which represent an animal or symbol related to their history and heraldry, only 17 of the original 59 remain.

Old with the New
Amsterdam is a city of contrasts, a place where you can take in historic architecture and picturesque canal scenes punctuated by the occasional modern building or art installation. It all works together.

London Museum
This is the entrance of the marvelous Museum of Natural History in South Kensington, London. This ornate terracotta facade, built in 1881, was typical of high Victorian architecture. The interior of the museum has atmosphere to spare. Standing on the stairs of the main hall gives the illusion of being caught in one of those impossible M.C. Escher images. I've added several textures for a grunge effect.
