Saguaro Ranch was a 640 acre ranch that was homesteaded in the late 1800s and has been preserved and restored by the city of Glendale, Arizona. We enjoyed a self-guided tour.

Pantheon, Rome

According to Wikipedia, the Pantheon is one of the best preserved buildings from antiquity. It was built as a temple to all the gods of ancient Rome and rebuilt by Hadrian in 126 AD after all but the columned facade had been destroyed. During the 7th century, it was dedicated to the Virgin Mary and has been used as a Roman Catholic church ever since.
