Monterey Bay
This photo of Monterey Bay was taken several years ago. Even though it had some nice elements - rocky beach, nice colors, sailboat and seagull, I felt it was lacking something. I added a subtle HDR effect and a texture from Shadowhouse Creations.

Fisherman's Wharf, Monterey
Monterey, California is one of my favorite places in the world. Along with neighboring Carmel and Big Sur to the south, this whole area is just breathtakingly beautiful. This image depicts Fisherman's Wharf, a fun place to explore and dine on seafood at one of the many restaurants.
Because the original photo was rather flat-looking, I added a couple of textures: painted clouds from Shadowhouse Creations and linen text created by Tanya Felsheim and found on Flickr.
