The Temple of Apollo, Didyma

Once an ancient sanctuary on the coast of Ionia, now Turkey, the ancient site of Didyma contains the remains of a temple to Apollo, seen here. Like Delphi, Didyma was also an oracle.

Solin Ruins

The ruins of the ancient city of Solin (or Salona, as it was known in Roman times) are located northeast of Split, Croatia. Only a small portion of the extensive site has been excavated, including early Christian churches, cemeteries and the remains of a Roman amphitheater.
