Afternoon in the Park

An early summer afternoon in the Parc des Buttes Chaumont in Paris. The third largest park in Paris is located in a residential area of Paris in the 19th arondissement. You will find more Parisians than tourists here. The structure atop the hill in the background is the Belvedere (Temple) of Sybil, modeled after the Temple of Vesta in Tivoli, Italy.

The Squirrel

This charming restaurant, with its pink flowers and outdoor dining, is located on the grounds of Vaux le Vicomte. I believe l'ecureuil translates to "the squirrel."

Pont Royal, Paris

I began this image with a photo of the Pont Royal over the river Seine. Constructed in 1685, it is one of the three oldest bridges in Paris and crosses from the Louvre to the Musee d'Orsay.
