Menton Postcard

A view of Menton from sea level. Situated on the Mediterranean and only a few miles from the Italian border, Menton is a highly desirable retirement destination for many expats.

Sunny South of France

The warm hues of Menton's architecture rise up from the Mediterranean. This is a wonderful town, not far from Nice, but very pleasant and it seemed much less touristy. I wouldn't mind living here!

Menton Citadelle

I'm still perusing the images from my trip to the French Riviera several years ago. This one shows the citadelle and the sea wall at Menton, a lovely, laidback town almost at the Italian border.
Textures from Paree Erica and Lenabem-Anna.

Menton

Located on the Mediterranean, Menton is nicknamed "The Pearl of France." More relaxed and unassuming than other towns on the French Riviera, perhaps reflecting its close proximity to Italy, Menton seems very livable and friendly.

A texture from Shadowhouse Creations was added to my original photo.
