London Gold
Beginning with a photo I took of the Parliament buildings in London, I used various textures to create the scratched gold look of the buildings and another texture for the background sky.

A Touch of Gold
The Palace of the Liberty in Bruges dates from the 1700s. Liberty was an area surrounding medieval Bruges. The gold-trimmed building later functioned as a courthouse and subsequently housed the city council's administration. It is situated on the main town square.

White Rose Framed
I began this piece with a vintage rose and placed it on a piece of scanned paper that a friend made for me years ago. I love the aqua color and have never been able to part with this particular piece. Then I centered these over gold background textures, as well as a French writing texture and two vintage key illustrations.
