Autumn in the Desert

We visited the Desert Botanical Gardens today and enjoyed the Four Seasons sculptures by Philip Haas. These impressive sculptures are 15 feet high and were inspired by Giuseppe Arcimboldo's Renaissance era paintings.

Smooth and Sharp

This photo was taken at the Desert Botanical Gardens, a must-see if you are ever in the Phoenix area.

I was intrigued by the way the different varieties of succulents complemented and contrasted with each other and I discovered that the addition of a subtle texture added even more dimension to the photo.
